Ice Melting kit consists of 2 seemingly identical black trays measuring 10cm x 10cm. They are actually made of different materials, one being a conductor of heat and another an insulator. When a small block of ice is placed on each of them simultaneously,it can easily observable that the ice on the conducting tray melts quickly as heat is conducted away while the ice on the other tray takes longer.
