Demonstrate how a thermostat work. The apparatus consists of a bimetal strip that expands at different rates on each side, When the electricity passes through, the metal strip increases in temperature and it will bend in one direction, away from the top contact, therefore breaking the electrical circuit. The 2 strips then cool off and after some time return back to its original position reestablishing the circuit. It comes with 4mm sockets for easy connection.
